Winter Wonderland - TAG ♥

Hey guys!
It's Christmas Eve!!! I'm so excited for Christmas and i thought it was appropriate for me to do this 'Winter Wonderland Tag' which i saw from Miss Budget Beauty off YouTube who is an amazing YouTuber who I've watch for years, so check her response to this tag!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas or if you don't celebrate Christmas i hope you have a wonderful holiday with family & friends :)
So lets get on with the tag!

1. Favorite thing about winter?
My favorite thing about winter has to be the cold weather... I know many people hate it but i honestly like it, i find it easier to warm myself up than to cool myself down during the summer... I'm a strange child i know!

2. Scarves or Beanies?
Scarves all the way! I have huge bushy hair anyways so that keeps my head warm and I've never really been a hat person. I don't mind them messing my hair up because almost everyday i rock the 'I just got out of bed hair' anyways haha!

3. Favorite holiday movie?
I have different favorite films for each part of the holiday. Throughout most of December i will watch ELF over and over again. I never get bored of it but on Christmas Eve i have to watch Polar Express in my bed before i sleep, i can't watch it any other time in December... Weird holiday tradition i know...

4. Favorite winter nail polish?
I have too many nail polishes to pick one. During the winter i like vampy/red/purple colours. I honestly just pick a random colour that i like the look of at the time and paint my nails with it haha!

5. Favorite Starbucks Holiday Drink?
White Chocolate Mocha with half a shot of peppermint. Longest coffee order drink ever but its soooooo nice! i have it every Christmas and i just love it!

6. What are your top 3 winter essentials?
Lush lip scrub in bubblegum
Avon Color trend lip balm in Sugar Cookie
Dry skin moisturizer
If i use these during the holiday season my skin is so soft and my red lipstick apply smoothly

7. Name one item on your wish list this year.
I haven't really got a list, I've just ask for some more lipsticks to add to my collection because a girl can never have too many lipsticks. That's a fact!

8. Favorite holiday song?
Does Michael Bubles Christmas Album count as a song? That whole album is fabulous and really gets me into the Christmas spirit of things but if i had to choose one it would have to be 'Fairytale of New York' even thought it isn't officially a Christmas song and it has hardly anything to do with Christmas its amazing and fun to sing along too!

9. Did you go Black Friday shopping this year?
I didn't really go out and go shopping because here in the UK we don't really have Black Friday but amazon were going their annual sale and i managed to buy a bottle of Nicki Minaj perfume for £15 instead of £38. AMAZING!

10. Must have winter lip product?
RED LIPSTICK is a must for the holiday season and lip balm... you don't want chapped lips!

11. Will you be rocking an ugly Christmas sweater this year?
No, i have never brought or worn a Christmas jumper. Christmas day i usually spend my time in my onsie or new PJ's that my mom and dad have brought me! Better to be comfortable that to be itchy and uncomfortable.

12. Have you ever had a white Christmas where you live?
We have but i don't think we will this year, unless the heavens suddenly open with a flood of snow tonight all we will be getting this year is wind, rain and frost!

13. Favorite winter candle scent?
This year i have been loving 'Merry Marshmallow' by Yankee candle and since its now Christmas eve i can now burn the 'Christmas Eve' Wax tart i brought! EXCITING TIMES!!

14. How will you be celebrating this holiday
I shall be spending it with family, enjoying food and just enjoying the relaxation time i have off from not being at school! Perfect Christmas time to me!

I hope you guys enjoyed that tag!
I just thought it would be some thing a little different!
Anyways like i said i hope you all have a wondering Christmas/Holiday with your loved ones.
Take Care.

Primark Beauty Eyeliner Pen ♥

Hey guys!
I've been meaning to do this review for a while now and every time i have thought of sitting down to type it something else has always grabbed my attention and later on I've forgot but I've remembered and here we go!
Today's post as you can tell by the title is about the Primark Beauty Eyeliner pen in black.

I brought this for £1.50 as you can see from the picture above and at first it was amazing and it lasted all day, glided on perfectly and the tip was just like a felt tip pen which i have used and liked in the past from makeup brands such as MUA. This tip of this product looked like this.

As you can see its just a normal felt tip pen. The lines that this product makes can differ from really thin, thin and thick depending on how you wanted to style your eye make up.

I used this for about 2 to 3 weeks not every day because i hardly put eye makeup on a day to day basis but on about the 3rd or 4th week of me going to use this eyeliner I took the cap off to something horrible and disgusting. GREEN MOLD HAD STARTED TO FORM ON THE TIP OF THE PEN!! I'm not talking just a little bit im taking about 30-50% of the tip covered in this green mold ball. I didn't take a picture of the mold because my first instinct was to throw it half way across my room into my bin and feel disgusted at the fact that I had been putting that product on my eyes and it could have easily given me an infection.
Honestly I don't think i will buy any more Primark beauty products. This was enough to put me off. Be careful which was makeup you buy, it may not be safe
Hope your all having a good day/night.
Take care.

Tis the season to be jolly!

Hey guys!
Hope you are all okay.
As i type this i am listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album getting in the spirit of christmas since it is finally DECEMBER!
This year has gone so quick I can't believe we are nearly in 2014!
I haven't posted in a while and i like i always do when i have been away for a block period of time i always let you guys know what i have been up too and what you can look forward too!
Let's get the boring part over so you guys can read what's coming up!
I've been watching too many YouTube videos recently since many of my favorite youtubers have started doing vlogmas since its the run up to christmas which isn't really helping with the fact i have loads of homework building up and blog posts to put up for you guys!
Also last weekend i put the christmas decorations up which me and my family always do on the first weekend in December, this is the point where i can start getting excited for christmas and begin to get all festive! I do get some christmas present during November but to be honest that seems more of a chore at that time of year more than a fun time. However this is the first year in ages that i have not waited until the last week before christmas to buy presents! Pat on the back to me!

SO... What's coming up?
I have a mini candle haul coming up soon as well a couple of hauls and a couple of chatty posts! Stay tuned for those and maybe a couple of random posts!
Take Care.

The Autumn/Winter - TAG ♥

Hey guys!
I hope you're all doing well, as i type out this little tag i'm sitting in my music classroom listening to 'Story of my life - One Direction' because its amazing and i can't get it out of my head! anyways that isn't what this post is about... i haven't ever done a tag post on this blog and the reason for that is because i've never been tagged by anyone to do a tag. However i'm still going to do this tag! Just a disclaimer i didn't think of this tag by myself i did see it on someone blog and i thought it was a cute tag, so there you go! Let's get started!

What item of clothing do you love to wear in winter but wouldn't be seen wearing in public?
There isn't really anything that i wouldn't wear out in public that i wouldn't wear in my own home, if i had to pick one i would probably have to say my christmas themed onsie...

Most wanted item for autumn/winter?
I really really want a sully from monsters inc onsie... i may have to find somewhere online that sells them and buy one ready for christmas!

Favourite boots to wear in winter:
I don't really wear boots in winter, i wear hi-tops mainly... i've really been into wearing heels or boots or sandals... all i need is a good pair of hi-tops and I'm good to go!

Are you a fan of UGG boots?
Honestly... No. I think they are horrible. They are up there is with crocks. I hate seeing people walking round with UGG boots on and they have worn them so much that they are walking on this side of them... ill insert a picture for those of you who don't know what i mean...
EWWWWWWW!
*Image from google images*

It's snowing/raining outside, what are your favourite wellies to wear?
Honestly... i would just wear my old hi-tops... how bad am i at this tag
already... if i'm not wearing my hi-tops outside i would be in bed in the warm :'D

What is your favourite autumn trend?
I haven't really got one... i love wearing darker make-up during these seasons, i love dark smokey eyes and dark lipsticks, can't have too many dark lipsticks for these seasons <3

What is your typical winter day consisting of?
If i'm not at school, i'm usually in bed with either my laptop, a cuppa tea and a blanket, or sometimes if i'm feeling a bit rebellious i play on my xbox, nothing keeps you warm like killing a few zombie on left 4 dead! ;D

Cup of tea, hot chocolate, or coffee?
ALL THREE! who can pick just one lets me honest! I love a good cuppa tea in the morning, coffee during the day to keep you awake and energised and then a hot chocolate a couple of hours before doing to sleep to relax you! PERFECT!

Do you like or dislike that it's starting to get dark?
I dislike it more than i like it if i'm honest. I hate having to get up for school in the dark and leaving school in the dark... its feel like i should be in bed and not getting ready to fight the cold that the english weather brings. In a way thought, i also kinda like that, it makes me feel like its closer to... i'm going to have to say it... Christmas!

Christmas is coming, do you have any idea of what you want?
Nope. No idea at all... i guess i just have to hope that santa has good taste and knows me well... he should he's know me for the past 18 years ;D

There you go! This tag didn't really tell you much about me but i thought it would be a cute and quick tag to do for you guys! I hope you are all having a good day!

Sophie where have you been?

Hey guys!
WOW! its been nearly 2 months since i updated this blog... those 2 months have gone so quick i can't even explain! So... What has been going on?
Mid October i went to Greece for a week, it was one of the best weeks of my year so far just because it was a time where i can just relax and enjoy time with my family as well as the bonus of being away from school and teachers! The only downside with the holiday is that even before it started we got diverted to a different airport for 2/3 hours while the plain refueled due to the bad weather we couldn't land.
As well as being on holiday last Monday it was my 18th birthday! yep i said it right 18... i don't feel it. Everyone asks me "what does it feel like to be 18?" and the honest answer? It feels the same as being 17, 16, 15 haha!
I could make a whole blog post about what i got for my birthday but im not going to due to many reasons. The one thing i will tell you guys on this blog is that i got my first car! Yes, my own first car! For those of you who know your cars its a "Fiat Punto Active Sporting" in an electric blue colour!

Its the car i have wanted since looking into getting my first car, the colour is my favorite colour in the world and to find a car in that colour was just amazing!
On the actual day of my birthday i didn't do much, i stayed at home and my family ordered a take away in just so we could relax and not get all dressed up to go out. I didn't mind doing this actual it was my idea. This Saturday i'm seeing all my family and friends at my late birthday party which will be fun and we can all dance the night away!
Apart from those two main things i haven't really been up to much, i would have updated you guys a bit more but i have been struggling with what to post and tell you guys, if you have any ideas i would love hear them!
Well that's it for now, expect a few new blog posts coming soon, maybe a couple of reviews!

Take care x

Crazy cinema experience! ♥

Hey guys!

So yesterday (Thursday 29th August 2013) me and my friend Jess went to see  One Directions new film 'This is us' in our local cinema.
I'm not going to do a whole blog post about the film because it is truly one of those films you have to go and see for yourself to enjoy it! It's an actual eye opener on the boy's life and now they act like normal boys and have fun with being on the road, you also get a look back on their lives before and it's just all cute and wonderful!
Anyways back to what this blog post is really about. While we were waiting for the trailers to start and then finally the film three very friendly women with capital FM  hoodies walked through the door! I started jumping around and predicting why they were in there and I was right! They had tickets in their hands!
If you don't know why I was so excited if because there is a festival in Birmingham this weekend called Fusion Festival were loads of amazing acts all come together for the weekend! Me and Jess had already got tickets for Sunday and we were throwing back and forth on the idea of getting them for Saturday and its a good thing that we didn't!
The three lovely women asked for someone to go down to the front and answer a question about Jessie J and a 7/8 year old boy ran down to the front to answer the question which would win EVERYONE in the cinema at that time a ticket to the Saturday section of the festival. And guess what?! HE ANSWERED IT RIGHT!! bless him because it was a room full of people and he must of been really nervous.
But yeah that was my crazy cinema experience! It was just a quick post but I hope you all have a wonderful Friday with what ever your doing and make sure you go check 'This is us' out at your local cinema!
Take care x

Gradient Sunset Nail Tutorial ♥

Hey Guys!
Many of you will not know this but i love doing my nails and experimenting with new designs and colours.
Recently i have been loving the gradient look and with it sort of being the summer time i thought it would be a great idea to do a little nail tutorial which you guys can do yourself or to your friends. There are many tutorials on YouTube which shows you how to add a palm tree or little birds onto this design but for me i just wanted it to be plain, simple and bright!
So i hope you enjoy my step by step picture tutorial to help you achieve this vibrant look!
I first started off with 3 beautiful colours. A red, yellow and bubblegum pink!
Now you can use any colours that your guys want but due to me watching the 'sunset' look i decided upon these.
The colours from left to right: ELF Smokin' Hot, NYC Lexington Yellow, ELF Gum Pink.
These colours really did blend well together creating the contract between the colours.
The next thing you will be needing is a cosmetic make up wedge sponge, you can get these rather cheap if you get them from the right places. I got mine from ELF while on a little bit of a spending spree in the past and have never used them for makeup as ive always used a brush. You get 8 of them online for £1.50 from ELF which i feel is a bargain!
The next thing i did was apply these colours onto the sponge in stripes, starting with the yellow and then pink followed finally by the red it should look something like this
Now you have your colours ready get your nail prepared for the colours with a base case! (For this mini tutorial im just going to used a fake nail so you can really see the end results) If you want to save some time paint the base before you start.
If your do end up using sheer colours i would add a base coat of white to enhance the colour. I however didn't do this as the colours i have very bold and do not need any help enhancing.
Time to apply the colours from the sponge into your nail!
You're going to do this by placing the sponge on your nail directly and start to rock the sponge over your nail to allow the colour to transfer. Once you have done this it should look something like this!
As you can see the colours have blended really well and you can fully see where one colour should start and end.
Next your going to allow this to full dry and then add a top coat to seal in the design! For this I used a matte topcoat.
or you could give the Sally Hansen super shine top coat if you're looking for that shiny nail look (or any other topcoat of your choice) !
Once applied it should look something like this (all adding a top coat will really do is hold your polish design for longer and blend the colours together more evenly!
And that is it!

Simple right? I told you but would be, even though the summer time isn't really the classic summer time here in England doesn't mean you nails can't be bright and colourful!
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial I hope to do more in the future for you guys if you liked them!
Have a good day/night
 Take care x

Despicable Me 2 ♥

Hey Guys!
I hope you're all having a great summer holiday, even thought the weather in the UK isn't to the best standards has it has been in a while.

Today's post is going to be about Despicable me 2!
Now for some of you out there that don't know what despicable me is, its a film based around a criminal mastermind that uses 3 orphan girls to help him with his new master plan but throughout the film his love grows for the 3 girls and changes him into a better person! The first film ends with the once criminal mastermind adopting the girls and taking care of them.
The second film is still along the same lines as the first one, they both have the genre of Family/Animation/Comedy/Crime. This film does have a little love twist which the other one didn't have. In this film Gru the main character who is the voice of Steve Carell gets asked to work for the Anti-Villain League to help discover a new powerful super criminal. We still have the family bond in this which is nice to see. The 3 girls who Gru adopts are Margo, Agnes and Edith. The 3 girls are played but Miranda Cosgrove, Elsie Fisher and Dana Gaier! All 3 of them play a big part in both of the films and allows younger views to connect to them via their animated actions in the film.
We also get to meet many new characters in this film which is good for us as an audience so we don't get too bored with the same characters but lets be honest who can honestly say their bored with the minions around!
I love the minions in these films so much, they are so cute and you could just imagine if they were real ha! It would be the best thing that would have ever happened, sad I know but they literally make me laugh so much that my sides hurt and now that there are the purple evil minions that have been Introduced to us it makes it even funnier :D

My opinion;
Personally this film is amazing and I loved every minute of It at the cinema and would 110% go watch it again without a moment of hesitation. It's a feel good, laugh out loud film and we all need a good laugh in a while!
I took my brother to see this film and he loved it just as much as I did!
If you get the chance too I would defiantly go see it in the cinema in 3D because some of the 3D effects it are mind blowing especially at the end, so make you you stay until after the little sections of credits to see the extra minion part at the end!

Overall I would give this film a 4.9 stars out of 5 because its a great film but I still think the original still wins my heart!
I hope this sort of helped you guys with deciding is it your type of film or not but like I have said before you need to experience the viewing for yourself to know if you like it it not! So why not go for a couple of hours "day out" to the cinema and give it a go!

Have a good day/night

How to turn a shiny/glossy lipstick to a wonderful matte texture! ♥

Hey guys!
Over the past couple of months I've been trying to find a matte (red) lipstick that is not high end and doesn't break the bank for a drugstore lipstick!
The one I've been looking at now for a while is the sleek; stiletto lipstick which is the perfect red cheap matte I've been looking for... Now the only problem is, is that every single time I have gone into my local Superdrug they are ALWAYS sold out! So while I'm waiting for it to come back into stock and for me to finally get my hand on it, I have been doing some research as to how you can turn a normal shiny/glossy lipstick into a matte texture!
I've tried many different things out and none of them have given me the effect as to what this one technique has done and it's face powder... Strange right? But it works!

If your looking to do this you don't want to use many random type of face power because different ones can change the colour of your lipstick depending on your skin colour and what you use.
I'm going to show you what I mean by showing you a before picture of my lips really shiny and the after effect of the powder!
The lipstick I'm going to be using is MUA; Shade 3. It's a very bright hot pink colour  which I think is stunning up against a tanned skin tone. I'm not very tanned but then again I'm not really pale!
Here is the before picture;
Sorry for the bad quality and how the texture looks on this photo as i started to take pictures the skies turned grey and the rain started pouring :(
Once you have applied your chosen lipstick you need to take a fine translucent powder which you can then dab onto your lips. For this I'm using the ELF; high definition powder which is a fine white dusty powder which you can see from the picture before!

Once you have your powder ready it time for you to dab it all on your lips! For this I'm going to be using my finger to apply to save getting lipstick on a brush which I would then have to wash for the next time I wanted to change the colour up. (I'm lazy like that and it saves the brush from getting too damaged from over washing)
Take small amounts and gently tap on the lips, you don't want to rub on the lips because depending on the formulation of the lipstick it could cause little bumps to form and make your lipstick look awful.
Once you feel like you have applied a generous amount onto your lips it should start to look a little less glossy and it should look something like this!
again not another great picture but you can get the overall idea of what it should look like and what it does!
This little technique is just for the time being i am looking to get the matte lipstick from Superdrug but for now this will do as a little trick to get me by!
Thank you for looking and i hope this little tip will help you!
Don't forget to check back soon for some reviews!
Take Care x

Quick update post!

Hey guys!
As you can see from the titles this post is just going to be a quick update on some things!
First of all i just want to say a Happy Birthday to my Nan who i love a lot and has always been like a second mom to me! I am currently getting ready for her birthday meal with my whole family and thought it would be a good time to post a happy birthday to her as well as some updates for you guys!

So here we go...
THERE IS FINALLY SOME SUN IN THE UK!!
Crazy i know... for all my readers who aren't from the UK you may not understand why im so happy about this but the past couple of years or so we haven't had much sun and its annoying because i love to just sit and relax and watch the world go by in the sun, nothing like it!
So with this in mind make sure you keep some sun cream near by and add it into your make-up routine in a morning, your skin will thank you for it in the long run!

Next is hair colour!
I am still purple but i wanted to let you guys know that in the next few days i will be putting another post up all to do with my hair and in relation to previous post on purple hair dye and what i thought about it in the long run, so if you guys are looking to dye you hair that purple colour make sure you keeps your eyes out for that.

Two more things for you guys to possibly get excited about... depending on what you read this blog for...
I have 3 yes thats right 3 make up reviews coming up for you guys... a foundation, powder and lipstick product which i can't wait to share with you guys as well as a...

FILM REVIEW!!!
Yes i have recently been to the cinema to watch Despicable Me 2 and i can't wait to share my thoughts with you guys and get your feedback on to what you thought about it or if you haven't been to see it yet, why you want and should go see but yes! im so excited to be back blogging for you guys, now that i have some motivation and some ideas flowing inside of my brain, so yeah!
I will post soon and i hope you have a wonderful evening/morning depending on where in the world you are!
Take care x

It's been so long...

Hey guys!
As many of you are in school i'm sitting at home watching 'Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging' snuggled up in a blanket, bar of galaxy chocolate and a cup of coffee. I haven't posted in a while and like many post in the past were ive been gone for a while i have no idea why. I think it gets to a time where many bloggers feel like they just need to step back and take a break and i know it seems like i do this rather often but i just feel like for you the readers that you will get rather fed up of review after review with an odd life post thrown in when i something rather exciting has happened, which with where i live isn't often.
I have no real idea with there i am going with this post if im 100% honest but i will be posting some more reviews soon for you guys but until then i hope you have a lovely day and if you are from the UK and currently at school i hope you had a lovely first day back!

Little Mix: DNA Album ♥

Hey guys!
Today is going to be not really a review as such but a dedication to Little mix!
I have liked Little Mix from the beginning of their journey on the X-Factor and since then i have been hooked on their voices, style and each of them in general.
When they first announced that they were bringing out their own album i was extremely happy and couldn't wait to listen to it. Each of the Little Mix girls has something different they all bring which i think is amazing and makes an amazing group. If you are not familiar with each member of the group i will link their main site below where you can find bios of them and other amazing things!
Now i know the album as been out for a while now but with this blog being sort of new i wasn't able to post about it earlier. The album actually came out in November last year and since then it had been one of those albums that i have been listening to non-stop.
(Picture was taken from Google images)
My favorite tracks on this album have to be:
Always Be Together
How Ya Doin'
Going Nowhere
Make You Believe
I think the reason for my liking these tracks so much is that they are extremely different in many ways but also still have that Little Mix vibe which i love! I love every song off the album but they are the main ones that i have broke the repeat button on a number of times.

For the past couple of blog posts i have felt like its just me and nothing but me telling you guys what i think, i wanted to spice it up a bit and give you guys some fresh thoughts, so this is where my friend Charlotte comes into play. For as long i can remember ever since i have spoke to Charlotte she has had the love for Little Mix that i have had, even a little bit more! She has become one of the extremely lucky people that Little Mix themselves have followed on twitter and i remember the little mini party we had when it happened ha, because of this i decided to ask her opinion on this album and Little Mix themselves, this is what she had to say!
"They're really insperational as they don't only sing about love and heartbreak, they sing about friendship and feeling good about yourself, they bring up your self esteam and tell you that you're insecurites are what make you who you are. They're like every teenage girl, they have their own styles and fight for what they believe in. They're the best role models for girls right now and they put their passion into their music and families and deserve the best. My 4 favourite songs from the DNA album are Always be together, Turn your face, Change your life, Going nowhere"
I hope you guys found this post interesting and I hope you will go and check out Little Mix and this amazing album, and I'm 110% sure that when there is another album on the horizon ill be one of the first people to jump on it!
I hope your all having a lovely Wednesday!
Take care x

NEW HAIR COLOUR! ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is both lifestyle and beauty as you guys can probably tell from the title!
Now for the past couple of years ive been the type of person that has never been on the band wagon of always dying their hair from blonde to brown to red etc but there comes a time in everyone's life were you just have to take the bull by the horns and take that leap of faith! How cheesy did that sound?!
I've always been slightly worried because of seeing many friends and people around me dying their hair and then sometimes something going wrong along with all the disaster stories about peoples hair falling out!
The colour that i used was L'Oreal Paris Feria in P38 Violet Vendetta.
This hair dye retails for around £5 but it may be cheaper in certain shops due to promotions.
(My own pictures, sorry for the energy drink sneaking its way into the first picture)

From the back of the box i thought my hair would have more of a purple undertone than i actually have. I would have inserted a picture of my hair before and after but i completely forgot i was going to do a blog post about it and by the time i remembered i already had my roots coloured. At the moment in time i am using my iPhone 4s to take pictures with and for some unknown reason my hair colour isn't picking up as much as i would like it too!
In the natural light the purple in my hair really does shine through. The formula for this dye for me was no problem, the packaging does tell you to test a strand of hair out of visible site for example a section behind the ear. The things i found that was rather strange about this hair colour compared to the other ones i have been looking at is that they say you should test it 48 hours before you plan on dying your whole head, many of them i have looking into have only said 24 hours, this however didn't bother me, i had already waited one day one more couldn't hurt ha!
If your planning on dying your hair at any time i would recommend having your split ends trimmed off as i found with the simple test strand that the colour did stick to the ends more than it should because of the moisture that they are needing.
Washing the dye out of my hair took for what seemed like forever! Every single time i thought it has all finally come out a magic piece of hair would appear with loads of dye. Make sure with any hair dye you use that all  the dye is washed out fully because you don't want to be ruining a towel ha!
Overall i am happy with my hair colour and the process that i went through and who knows i may end up being even more daring with colours next time!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful if you were like me and a tad worried about dying your hair, try some semi-permanent colours before settling and always follow the instructions in the box!

EDIT
I thought i would just add to this post as its been a while since i used this hair colour. Honestly for me, it isn't the best hair colour i have used. Every single time i washed my hair more and more colour leaked out and many times it seemed as if i was washing the colour off my hair again. I think it may have something to do with my hair type as to why it does that because its not only this hair dye that has done it many of the others i have tried do too. Due to it washing out i had many random brown patches from where the colour has just simply washed out and compared to other hair dye this one didn't really give off  the purple-ness i would have wanted, but let me know what you guys think about this product as i would love to know if it worked for you!

The Croods (2013) Review ♥

FILM REVIEW!
So last weekend it was my brothers 10th birthday and he's been wanting to go and see "The Croods" for ages. Now i know it has been in the cinema a while now but it's very rare that i visit the cinema unlike many people who visit it every week or two. So this is my thoughts on it and a little bit of background information on the film, your thoughts may be different if you have seen the film, but enjoy and let me know if you want future film reviews!

To the left of this writing you will see the official film poster that is used to promote the film (Image taken from IMDb). As we can see from this poster the film is an animation presented by Dream Works which alongside with Disney is one of my favorite film companies.  I guess the child in me prefer to watch animations than real actors acting ha!
If you're ever thinking of going to see a film i would recommend you watch the trailer a couple of times to get the sort of gist of the story.
This story is following a family thought the devastation of their cave being destroyed and how they are have to trek to what seems like the opposite side of the world for a safe haven. The characters in this film have the voices of many actors that are well-known house hold names. For example we have Emma Stones who is the voice of Eep, Nicholas Cage who is the voice of Grug and Ryan Reynolds who is the voice of guy.
The actors to me didn't really bother me, but i do love Emma Stone as a actress so i knew her character would be amazing anyway, which she was!
Like many films the trailer does show most the best parts of the film, but this film did have sections that weren't shown which i enjoyed a lot!
I did end up crying towards the end of the film which really surprised me with how funny and entertaining the film was before that section, if you're very emotional take some tissues! I don't want to ruin it for anyone who is looking to go and see it so I'm not wanting to give the storyline away too much!
One of my all time favourite characters in this film is the sloth who is called belt, bizarre name right? It does make seance when he is first introduced to the film, he is so cute and me along side with a couple of  others have a thing about sloths, the main person would probably have to be Amy who you guys already known from a previous blog post!
I fully enjoyed this film and would be more than happy to go and see it again, I personally think it will be one of those films that I will never get bored of.
I do fully recommend you go and see this film with your family or maybe a couple of friends if you enjoy this kind of film, If I was to give it a star rating I would give it around a 4.5 which I think is fair due to many films having those little flaws that you just pick at but its a great family film!
Thank you guys for reading my first film review, it isn't a full on review as I'm not if you guys are going to want more of these or not, let me know, I'm open to any suggestions!
I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend and have an amazing bank holiday!
Take care x

Rimmel Scandal’Eyes Mascara Black Review ♥

First Review on this blog!
*Disclaimer - The photo's are taken from google images - NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED*

My first review is going to be Rimmel Scandal’Eyes Mascara Black!
This mascara retails for around £6.99 from boots(UK) and Superdrug(UK) but this may vary depending on offers and the shop you buy it from.
I know mascara is hard to review because everyone has different lashes and you have to find the mascara that works for
you.
I love mascara and i always end up having way to many in my makeup collection, this is only because i like to try them out and see what they do for my lashes. The picture below is of what the packaging and brush looks like.

As you can see from the picture the mascara tube is very bight a colourful and this is what drew me to the product the first time I saw it.
I did come across some problems while using it though.

  1. The brush is MASSIVE. I have small lashes and the brush is just way to big for me. I have looked at some reviews on YouTube and also other blogs and they also say the same. I personally think  it depends on what type of lashes you have.
  2. The formula that they use for this product is very wet. This can cause problems applying as you can get it on your eye lid and if you blink before it dries you will get all on the under eyes area aswell.
  3. It made all my lashes clumpy instead of what it says it should do. It says that this product should define, add volume & reveal unseen before lashes corner-to-corner.
There is one upside thought, with how wet and clumpy the mascara is for me, when I have fake eye lashes on and I want to make the lashes look little bit more natural this mascara does a great job. For me it helped blend my natural lashes into the fake ones leaving me with more defined eyes lashes. I know this also depends on what type of lashes you use due to them not looking natural if you are using very dramatic lashes. Many people in the past have asked me when wearing fake lashes are they real, which to me makes it seem like this mascara does a wonderful job for this.

Let me know what you think about this mascara if you have tried it!
Take care x

Amazing Night! ♥

Hey everyone,
I haven't posted in a while and i know this post was meant to be a beauty review but this to me is more important and i think you guys will enjoy it a bit more! There will be a beauty review soon!
For the past couple of weeks I was begging my mom to take me to Birmingham on the 14th March 2013... the reason for this being is Conor Maynard would be there, now many of wouldn't know this but I have a Mayniac (Conor's Fan base). Anyway back to the story... I had been trying to find away to get to meet him again (Ill talk about how I met him in another post) but my mom had made me realize that this wouldn't be the case and would be a waste of time.

Anyway to cut a long story short my mom got me tickets to go and see NE-YO & CONOR & TULISA i know crazy! I went with my best lad mate Josh who I can't thank enough for coming with me! We had to go pick the tickets up from the box office when we got to the LG arena, Birmingham and the next bit i wasn't prepared for fully... Me and Josh had got.... FRONT ROW TICKETS! It was unbelievable!

The show began with the AMAZING AND TALENTED Conor Maynard! and he smashed the place to bits! (I've seen him live before and he was amazing then but this was on some other sort of level plus with how close I was to him made it even better) He sang 5+ songs, i can't remember how many to be exact because well... I was fangirling, dying, singing and dance at this point! During his time on stage Conor looked at me TWICE, smiled and winked at me... it couldn't have gotten any better. Ill place a picture of him preforming for you guys, even thought the quality may be shocking due to be dancing around, but you will get the main idea!

After Conor, Tulisa was up next to preform. Now I'm not the biggest Tulisa fan, but she preformed an N-Dubz remix and I did enjoy it a lot! I don't really have much to say about Tulisa and her performance apart from the backing singers helped her out ALOT but what can you expect from someone who is used to being on stage with 2 of her closest friend/family? Once again I will post a picture of Tulisa performing below.

There was quite some time between Tulisa and Ne-Yo due to the stage crew were having to get the stage ready for him. The DJ at this point was pretty terrible and he kept replaying the same remix that he had played as soon as we walked in to the actual arena section, but if I'm honest me and Josh didn't care and sang and boogied along anyway!
Before we knew it the whole place had gone black and the special effects started! Smoke filled the stage and lights started to flash as Ne-Yo entered on stage with his backing dancers, which many I add were incredible! So much energy filled the stage from just the first second of the show starting!
Ne-Yo began preforming and kept heading over to my side of the stage i didn't think he wouldn't get any closer until he stood on one of the boxes right in front of me! He became that close to me that all i had to do was reach out my arm and i could physically touch him. I would have tried but there was a hence bloke following him up and down the stage giving everyone dirty looks who tried!
With every song Ne-Yo sang his performance got even better and my voice was on its way out, then suddenly CONOR CAME BACK ON STAGE! My heart was racing and I felt like cry. I couldn't have been more proud to see my idol on stage with a huge artist such as Ne-Yo. As soon as Conor came on stage he headed straight over toward where I was stood and smiled at me again which was insane, I felt like my heart has just melted... I have no idea why he has this effect on me but he does. It was one of the best performances of the night! Ill insert another picture of them together!

After Conor had left the stage Ne-You carried on preforming at his best and carried on wandering over to my side of the stage. If i'm honest Ne-Yo spent more time on my side of the stage than he did the other but i'm not complaining it was amazing! I know i'm inserting a lot of pictures but me just telling you all of this isn't believable. The picture below is of how close Ne-Yo got to me!

From the picture above you can see a black scarf / bandanna in Ne-Yo hand that is point toward the camera. This became and insane moment for me. Ne-Yo gave me it. I know. I couldn't believe it! During the show... i know this is going to sound gross to some... but he was wiping his swear on it due to the heat of the heavy stage lights and he also carried it literally everywhere on the stage with him! Even with his several clothing changes he still kept it and returned to the stage with it. I couldn't believe at the end of the show it was mine!
It doesn't feel real still even when i tell someone about it! I know this has been a really long post but i hope it kind of makes up for the lack of posts. I will hopefully start to post more and more and topic i hope you guys will enjoy! i'm going to leave you with the last picture that basically proves and backs up everything i have said to you from being front row to Ne-Yo giving me his bandanna!
Take care x
