Nivea Men After Shave Balm - Makeup Face Primer?! - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today' post is going to be on the much talked about Nivea Men Post Shave Balm.
I bet any of you have been seeing this floating around the internet as a new 'Face Primer'.
I was intrigued by this once I saw it on Nikkietutorials YouTube Channel.
I have tried it... I don't like it.
I'm being honest. That's what this blog is about.
I have tried it for a few months now and I don't see a difference in the way my makeup wears. The reason this is meant to be 'Primer' is because one of the main ingredients is glycerine. Glycerine is meant to help stuff stick to it.
The idea is that you apply this to your face before your foundation and throughout the day it will help your makeup stay in place.
Now I don't know if this would work better if you have really oily skin but for someone with dry-ish skin and an oily t-zone I don't see a difference.
In personal Opinion I would just save the £4-5 on how much this will cost you when it's not on offer and save up for a real primer that is meant to do the job and that is supposed to do. This product also breaks me out in spots but their aren't visible typical white head spots they are more under the skin. I have read many people complain about this product breaking them out. I guess that's what you get when you use a product designed for men after they have shaved haha!

The one thing I do like about this product is the smell!
Its a very manly with it being a men's product and smell like aftershave!
For some reason it reminds me of high school when boys finally realised that they can smell of something other than sweat haha!
Have you guys tried this product?
What do you think?

Sweet Indulgence Cakes ♥

Hey guys!
I have been putting this post off so much but I am finally getting round to posting it!
As you guys may have already read in previous posts I have started up my own business. Its a Cake designing & Making business!
My friend Jessica has been making cakes for her family for a while now and I have been able to help her out with a few from time to time when I didn't have any college work going on and I really enjoyed it! Not only the opportunity to work with my best friend but to be able to get my creativity flowing and coming up with ideas on how to create a cake and develop it into a physical thing.
It got me thinking about what I was going to be doing once I had left college... I try to get a job at a beauty counter and try and make my way up the board or set up a freelance business but none of those seemed to make me feel excited or give me any sort of drive.
So I was brainstorming and after visiting the job centre with Jess we were told about the Princes Trust that help you out with a start up loan for you to start your own business. We had spoke in the past about doing cakes full time but never thought that it would happen. I took the course and did all the paperwork and my loan got accepted! I then put in for a shop a few miles away from home to set up a base for us to do our cakes from and from their we have just been growing! We opened 12th December 2015. I wanted to open on this day as it was my grandads birthday who has sadly passed and wanted their to be a connection to the date.
I hope the future is full of lovely customers and beautiful cakes but who knows. All we can do is dream and keep out fingers and toes crossed!
If you guys would like to check out our business please check out the links below!

I hope you guys are okay!

The Vamps 'Wake Up' Album Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's Post is going to be a little review on The Vamps New Album!
If you guys have been reading this blog for sometime you will know I am a huge fan of the vamps and love nothing more than getting to see them live!
The boys are amazing musicians and honestly don't get enough credit for their amazing songs and lets not even mention Bradley Simpson's vocals... I could honestly talk about the boy all day! The little cutie!
ANYWAYS!
Back to what this post is actually about!
So back in November the album was released and since then I haven't stopped listening to it. Every song is an absolute tune. There is a song to suit every mood. I can't wait to see them perform some of the song live on their tour this year! I am sooo excited! Are you guys going to any of the tour dates?
This album has to be one of my favs of all time.
I love their first album and always will but some of the songs on this album are a lot better and show how much the boys have grown as not only artists but in themselves.

Can we also just for one second talk about the album cover?!
The blue colours are beautiful (My Fav Colours). The new logos are stunning and the boys on the cover are looking fabulous af.
What are your favourite tracks on this new album?
I love 'I Found A Girl', 'Million Words', 'Stolen Moments', 'Cheater', 'Half Way There', 'Peace of Mind' & 'Written Off'... Who am I kidding?! I LOVE ALL OF THEM!
There is not one bad song on the whole album.
If you haven't listened to it you need to right now.
You can listen to it on spotify, purchase it on iTunes, Amazon, Etc.
You guys know where you can get it from!
What are you waiting for? Go bless your eyes with the beautiful music of the Vamps and enjoy every second of it!

George ASDA - Face Primer Review

Hey guys!
Hope you are all okay!
Today post is going to be on the George ASDA - Face Primer.
I have been looking for a new primer and while looking in ASDA a couple of months ago I came across this! It was on sale for £3.50 instead of £5 so decided to give it a go!
I haven't heard much about this primer even after looking on the internet once home there was a few reviews.

On some reviews people were going on about how when they first opened and squeezed out some of the product a load of oil came out alongside meaning it has separated in the packaging. This didn't happen to me. I was worried it was going to. If this does happen to you give it a good shake for a few minutes to try and join them back together.

The product has a slight tint and I mean a slight slight tint to it when blended into the skin. You can see from the swatch above the colour it comes out of the packaging. It doesn't cover all redness but I do have quite red cheeks, if you has little less pigmented patches of red on the face it may do a good job in covering it giving you a neutral base to apply over.
One downside with this product is that it does not like being put over the top of other moisturisers. Its starts to create bobbly bits and starts to separate which isn't a cute look at all.
The primer is moisturising to a point but throughout the day it does start todry out on your skin and clings to the dry patches on my face and caused my nose to become really oily after some time.
I found when I do wear this primer halfway through the day I do have to powder my nose again just to get rid of what oils the primer has caused my pores on my nose to produce.
It creases like mad under my eyes and overall give my face a weird looking texture.

Its not a bad primer it just isn't the best I have tried for the price.
I'm glad I gave it ago for £3.50 but would have been mortified if I had paid £5 for it.

New Year, Same Me Just A Few Changes ♥

Hey guys!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hope you all had a wonderful christmas and new year with your loved ones!
Every year the quote "New Year, New Me" gets used ALOT.
Everyone says it and within a month they are back to the same person they used to be doing the same old things.
I've decided this year i'm not going for a 'New Me' I'm simply going to stay who I was last year but make a few life changes.
I always used to be the person who make new year resolutions
and within a month they are out of the window and all forgot about but this year feels different so I hope they stick.

Diets are always on the top of everyone's list when it comes to making a change in the new year and i'm no different. This year I've started to watch what I am eating, drinking loads of water and trying to stay more active.

I have recently set up on own business which I have been keeping a secret for a few months now (I'll do a blog post on it soon, I promise). I hope this year brings luck upon the business, allowing it to lift off the ground the way I am hoping. I plan on getting myself out there and putting every bit of strength and willpower into making this business work. Motivation is key and I started to lack it at the end of the last year but I am trying to lift myself back up and get inspiration in any way that I can to build this business up to be what I want it to be.

Family and Friends are a huge part of my life and this year I plan on trying to spend more time with them between running my business. This year already looks bright with the concerts me and Jess have going to and I couldn't be going to see them with anyone better than her! I plan for more adventures for us to go to random places we decide upon the day before. I plan on having evenings where we all sit together as a family and play games and enjoy each others company more. I also hope this year brings happiness to everyone I know.

Many of what I classed as friends have disappeared over the past year. Some have changed in ways I couldn't and didn't want to keep up with and looking back on it as bad as it sounds i'm rather happy with letting them go out of my life. I have no harsh feeling towards these people don't get me wrong I wish the best for them in whatever they are doing right now but I'm glad i'm not apart of their life's anymore.

This blog has been apart of my life for a few years now and it will always be a love of mine. Last year I was posting twice a week and rarely missed a post. However with now trying to run my business I am going to have take the posts down to one a week and my upload day will be on Sunday. (The only day I get off haha) I hope you guys are okay with this and still enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it.

This year I hope you. Yes you reading this have a wonderful year. I hope you get to go places, see things and people you have never seen before and wake up every day with a smile on your face ready for another beautiful day. I hope you get the exam results you are looking for in your school years and get jobs you have been dreaming about since you were younger.
I wish happiness for you.
I wish happiness for my family, friends and myself.
I wish happiness for the whole world.

I hope you all have a wonderful new year
See you back here next sunday with another blog post!
