The Croods (2013) Review ♥

FILM REVIEW!
So last weekend it was my brothers 10th birthday and he's been wanting to go and see "The Croods" for ages. Now i know it has been in the cinema a while now but it's very rare that i visit the cinema unlike many people who visit it every week or two. So this is my thoughts on it and a little bit of background information on the film, your thoughts may be different if you have seen the film, but enjoy and let me know if you want future film reviews!

To the left of this writing you will see the official film poster that is used to promote the film (Image taken from IMDb). As we can see from this poster the film is an animation presented by Dream Works which alongside with Disney is one of my favorite film companies.  I guess the child in me prefer to watch animations than real actors acting ha!
If you're ever thinking of going to see a film i would recommend you watch the trailer a couple of times to get the sort of gist of the story.
This story is following a family thought the devastation of their cave being destroyed and how they are have to trek to what seems like the opposite side of the world for a safe haven. The characters in this film have the voices of many actors that are well-known house hold names. For example we have Emma Stones who is the voice of Eep, Nicholas Cage who is the voice of Grug and Ryan Reynolds who is the voice of guy.
The actors to me didn't really bother me, but i do love Emma Stone as a actress so i knew her character would be amazing anyway, which she was!
Like many films the trailer does show most the best parts of the film, but this film did have sections that weren't shown which i enjoyed a lot!
I did end up crying towards the end of the film which really surprised me with how funny and entertaining the film was before that section, if you're very emotional take some tissues! I don't want to ruin it for anyone who is looking to go and see it so I'm not wanting to give the storyline away too much!
One of my all time favourite characters in this film is the sloth who is called belt, bizarre name right? It does make seance when he is first introduced to the film, he is so cute and me along side with a couple of  others have a thing about sloths, the main person would probably have to be Amy who you guys already known from a previous blog post!
I fully enjoyed this film and would be more than happy to go and see it again, I personally think it will be one of those films that I will never get bored of.
I do fully recommend you go and see this film with your family or maybe a couple of friends if you enjoy this kind of film, If I was to give it a star rating I would give it around a 4.5 which I think is fair due to many films having those little flaws that you just pick at but its a great family film!
Thank you guys for reading my first film review, it isn't a full on review as I'm not if you guys are going to want more of these or not, let me know, I'm open to any suggestions!
I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend and have an amazing bank holiday!
Take care x
