100th Blog Post!!! ♥♥

Hey guys!
I actually can't believe that this is my 100th blog post. It only seems like I started this blog a month ago!
Thank you all for reading this blog. I know sometimes I miss days and sometimes the content isn't always very good but I am working on it!
I have never ever been very good at putting things down on paper and explain myself. I am more of a word of mouth person but it's good to challenge yourself with new and exciting things every once and again!
I have some exciting posts coming up for you and I hope you all enjoy reading them when they are posted.
I have started my Instagram back up and I have also started using my Twitter account more.
My Twitter: SophieBMusic95You can keep up with me on there as well as when I update this blog with a post. My Instagram has now become a sort of portfolio of my work at college and at home. Thank you to all the college girls for letting me attack them with paint, wax, latex, foundation, lipstick etc and of course the most important one... GLITTER haha!
So...
Here's to another 100 posts on this blog.
Again thank you for reading this blog. It really means a lot to me!

RIMMEL PROVOCALIPS 16HR KISSPROOF LIP COLOUR - Kiss Me Fool - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be on the Rimmel Provocalips!
I was gifted two of them for my birthday but i ended up giving my mom one because it was not my colour so that is why i will only be reviewing one of them today. I may do another one on the one I gifted my mom to show you that the colour you see on the tube is not necessarily the colour you will get in the tube and what will be on the lips. To be honest that is my only big downside with the lip product the rest of it is amazing!

This product lasts ALL day. At the end of the day you will need to scrub at your lips to get it off. Rimmel have said that these lip colours are "
Kiss proof, transfer proof, food proof high impact endless colour." They are not wrong. I have had this on while going to college, out for a meal and out for drinks with friends and its not budged at all. There is no tight feeling on the lips as the product dries and the gloss keeps your lips moisturized thought the day.

When applying this for the first time I did find it a tad tricky. Due to the product being thin and have like a watery texture it dried really quickly. I didn't have a lot of time to make sure the edges were perfect and trying to cover them with concealer was also a task due to how pigmented the liquid lip stick side is.

In one day I will apply the clear gloss 2 to 3 times depending on what i eat. Usually i will apply it in the morning and again in the afternoon just to add moisture to my lips before taking it off on a night time. The only other time I apply it for a 3rd time is if I am doing out on the night time.
The instructions on the website say to keep your lips apart for 60 seconds to let the product set. In my opinion it take around 2/3 minutes for the product to set enough for me to put the gloss over the top and no red colour transfer onto the doe foot applicator.

I really do love these and I wish they would bring them out in more colours. They are 100% worth the purchase if you are looking for a long wearing lipstick that you can apply minimal touch ups to during the day.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation - 10 Ivory - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be on the

This is my first time ever trying a maybelline foundation and I am pleasantly surprised. Although I do have dry skin and this foundation is for normal skin i didn't find any problem which it clinging to may of my dry patches and causing my skin to flake.

This foundation is an air-whipped liquid that provides a good amount of coverage and is build-able. I would say it is a medium coverage instead of the full coverage which is speculated on the website meaning it doesn't cover blemishes perfectly like some full coverage foundations. It is meant to give you a 100% pore-less look and even thought it does smooth over some pores I can still see a some one my nose. When pumped of of the bottle it is thick and creamy but once of the skin it feels lightweight.
The main thing for me and foundations is that they are a good colour match and they lasts the day. The colour of this foundation is good but on first swatch it was really orangery on my skin which is strange because many are usually yellow. It however does last the day.
The only downside to this foundation is it make my nose rather oily. I think because like many foundation it doesn't skin into the skin and just sits on top.

It defiantly gives the skin a more dewy look and feel but it is easily fixed with a bit of powder if you like that more matte look like I do.
Maybelline do recommend applying the foundation which your fingers but I apply all my foundations which my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to really work it into my skin.

The product retails for £7.99 for 30ml of product.
Overall this foundation is good but its not my favourite I have ever tried.
Have you guys ever tried it?

MUA Cream Blushers - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be on the MUA Cream Blushers!

I was gifted 5 of them for christmas and although not all of them are award winners for my skin on other people they are stunning!

I was always scared to try cream blushers or cream products in general because I always thought that after apply my foundation and putting them over the top it would move my foundation and make the rest of my makeup look a mess but it doesn't and I was super surprised! They also haven't had the best reviews of the years and have said to have been messy.
They are all lovely colour and are actually a dream to apply!

Left To Right: Blossom, Yummy, Scrummy, Bittersweet, Lush
I always apply my cream blushers with my MUA F2 Stippling brush which allows the product to be applied lightly to begin with and allows me to build the colour up to my expectations and desired look. You can apply the product with your fingers is you wish but I find that using your fingers does move your foundation. Unless you are very light handed which I am not I would use a brush!

The product lasts all day on the skin and doesn't require any touch up throughout the day. The pigmentation during the day does slightly on the skin but it still noticeable at the end of the night.

I would 100% recommend picking these up if you are new to cream blushers.

You can get these from Superdrug either in store or online and you can also purchase them from the MUA website direct. You get 3.2g of product for £2.
Have you guys tried these before? Do you like them?

- I'm perfectly incomplete
I'm still working on my masterpiece -

I hope to do a cover of this song in the future but for now enjoy the music video for 'Masterpiece' and the wonderful voice of Jessie J!

Urban Decay - Smoked Palette - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be on the Urban Decay - Smoked Palette.
I was gifted this for christmas and I am literally in love!!
I know it has been out a while but it is just perfect!
Its retails for £36 on Debenhams.

The palette comes with a sample of the famous urban decay primer potion and a full size of the black 24-7 glide on eyeliner in Perversion. You also get a little booklet with eye shadow looks that can be created with the colours. The palette is full of lovely dark colours that together make the perfect smokey eye! Even adding of the colours to a simple makeup look makes with look perfect and grungy. The packaging of the actual palette is a vinyl type material with a black zip around the edges.
The first eye shadow kinky is a wonderful matte highlighter colour and perfect for blending out shadow up to the brow. Freestyle is a wonderful colour to build on, I add it to my crease and usually add backdoor onto of it and I deepen and add shimmer further with either Barlust or Blackout! I usually use Rockstar, Evidence and Loaded as a pop of colour to the lid and the overall look.
They are all beautifully pigmented and beautifully buildable and blendable.

I honestly can't explain how pretty and grungy this palette is. You need this palette in your life. I hope the picture are showing how beautiful this palette is!
