Small Poundland Beauty Haul ♥

Hey guys!I recently went to pound-land and manage to pick up a few beauty products while I was there. Each of these product were a £1.

First is a Rimmel lipstick! This lipstick is from the Kate Moss Range - 30.
It is a lovely dark pinky/purple colour.

I absolutely love this lipstick!
I was going to pick this colour up on my last trip to boots but decided against it. I am so glad I waiting and I managed to get it for a lot cheaper! I can see this becoming a new favourite of mine!
Its is a little bit like MAC Rebel but more glossy

The next product is another lipstick.
This time it is a Pound land lipstick! - Makeup Gallery.
I have heard some great things about these lipsticks and for a pound you can't really moan about it!

This is in Pink Pop - 13. It is a beautiful colour perfect for the summer time and holidays abroad! I was surprised with how long this lipstick stayed on. I will 100% be going back and picking up some more shades in the future!

Next 2 products are lip liners
I love a good lip liner and these two and such pretty colours I couldn't not pick them up! They are both Rimmel London.

The top one is 057 - Ravish it is an exaggerate lip liner which is more of a crayon than a pencil. It is a pretty reddish brown colour!
The bottom one is 007 Rose Quartz which is a Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses lip liner, this one is a pencil. It is a lovely mauve pink colour!

The last products I picked up are both the same.
They are felt eyeliners from Rimmel London.
I have been using liquid liner since my incident with my Primark Felt Eyeliner

I am loving this eyeliner at the moment but I have to make up I store it upside down with the tip facing downwards else when I next go to use it, it is a little dry and the black lines aren't very pigmented.

I hope you guys liked this little haul post!
I hope you are all well!

Benefit - Roller Curl Mascara - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today post is going to be on the Benefit - Roller lash mascara.
I have this post sitting in my draft folder for so long and had completely forgot to post it!
I got this sample in the
March issue of ELLE.I had high expectations for this mascara as Benefit are well know for their 'They're Real Mascara' which I am a fan of and I knew this one had to live up to it if not be better for it to be worth the buy.Retail price - £19.50

I was pleasantly surprised that i liked it!
I love my lashes to have loads of volume and just a bit more length and this mascara is defiantly just a lengthening mascara. I feel like I have to add another mascara on top of it to add the volume desired on the days I am wanting big noticeable lashes.
This is an amazing every day mascara especially if you don't like to wear a lot of makeup. It is defiantly build-able but I found once you got to the 3rd/4th coat it started to clump and look like spider legs.

The outer packaging is so sleek and pretty.
On the benefit website it states that the mascara has an 'instant curve-setting formula that's holds for 12 hours'. However I do feel that the formulation of this mascara does help curl your lashes but for me it doesn't hold for the 12 hours it states. After about 3-4 hours of wear I could see my lashes start to droop and loose its curl.

As you can see from the pictures above of my lashes on the left side is my natural lash and on the right is the roller lash masacra. I applied 2 coats for this picture so you could see what it would look like layered.
Each of my lashes fanned out lovely.
I reach for this mascara when I am having one of my 'Natural' makeup days.
I do like it and would possibly repurchase it if it was on offer or came apart of a set that benefit do for christmas but i wouldn't go out tomorrow and repurchase it for the full price.
What do you guys think about this mascara?

Orange Soda Pop - Nails ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be a bit different to what I usually post. It is in the brackets of beauty but not for you face but for your nails.
Anyone who knows me knows I used be obsessed with doing my nails on a weekly basis but since starting college I had to stop wearing it.
I was clearing out some of my old polishes the other day and was pairing a couple up to create some pretty nail looks.

The two polishes I used for this look are both from Rimmel.

On the left we have Rimmel London Cocktail Colour in a Flash - 120 Shirley Temple - £3.99 & on the right we have Rimmel London 60 seconds - 403 Orgasam - Rita Ora Collection - £2.99.

120 Shirley Temple is a really pretty glitter colour. It can be used to put over a base colour like I have for this look or you can wear it only and build it up for 3-4 coats for an opaque finish. I however am lazy as hell and couldn't be bothered to keep applying layers on layers and waiting for them to dry in between coats.
I used 403 Orgasam as a base. Can we just take in the name of this polish please. I have never understood calling a product name like that but the colour is pretty so who cares about the name haha! Due to this being a 60 second drying polish I knew It wouldn't take me more than 10 minutes to do all my nails. I did two coats of 403 Orgasam and 1 coat of 120 Shirley Temple.

This was the overall look. The glitter looks amazing when the sun hits it.
This look is perfect for summer.

Surprise Birthday Party - Nan 80th ♥

Hey guys!
Yesterday (Saturday 4th July) was my nans 80th birthday.
She never wants any fuss on her birthday and would rather just be left to have her day to herself.
However me being the grand-daughter that I am I couldn't let an 80th birthday not be celebrated.
I planned a surprise party and told everyone what was going on and just asked them to contribute to the cost. My aunt took her out for the day so I could rush round and put all the decorations up, do all the food and get everyone together for the arrival.
My uncle dressed as a beaver. Yes a beaver.

My nan cried as she got out the car and was so shocked to see everyone. She did make me laugh when she turned to me and said "I don't have enough cups for everyone to have a cup of tea" haha!
I took her in the house and showed her all the food and decorations that I had been working on all day.
She turned to me again and broke her heart crying on my shoulder.

Another surprise was on its way.
I made my nans cake for her birthday.
I have never ever ever made a cake in my life. Let alone a 2 tier cake!
It took me 4 days to make it all. Every single rose on the cake was hand made.

I didn't get any pictures of my makeup that day apart from a few pictures of my eye makeup. I was going to make a separate post for it but i thought i would just add it onto the end of this post haha!

I used a dark brown and black in the crease and blended it out. Took a wet brush into a gold/copper shadow and applied it to the crease. I applied a matte highlighter to the brow bone and the inner tear duct. My brows are my natural brows with a bit of brow gel brushed through them.

Overall the day was lovely even thought it was a bit stressful.
My nan had a good time which was the main things and everyone got to talk a reconnect after not seeing each other for a while.
