New Year, Same Me Just A Few Changes ♥

Hey guys!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hope you all had a wonderful christmas and new year with your loved ones!
Every year the quote "New Year, New Me" gets used ALOT.
Everyone says it and within a month they are back to the same person they used to be doing the same old things.
I've decided this year i'm not going for a 'New Me' I'm simply going to stay who I was last year but make a few life changes.
I always used to be the person who make new year resolutions
and within a month they are out of the window and all forgot about but this year feels different so I hope they stick.

Diets are always on the top of everyone's list when it comes to making a change in the new year and i'm no different. This year I've started to watch what I am eating, drinking loads of water and trying to stay more active.

I have recently set up on own business which I have been keeping a secret for a few months now (I'll do a blog post on it soon, I promise). I hope this year brings luck upon the business, allowing it to lift off the ground the way I am hoping. I plan on getting myself out there and putting every bit of strength and willpower into making this business work. Motivation is key and I started to lack it at the end of the last year but I am trying to lift myself back up and get inspiration in any way that I can to build this business up to be what I want it to be.

Family and Friends are a huge part of my life and this year I plan on trying to spend more time with them between running my business. This year already looks bright with the concerts me and Jess have going to and I couldn't be going to see them with anyone better than her! I plan for more adventures for us to go to random places we decide upon the day before. I plan on having evenings where we all sit together as a family and play games and enjoy each others company more. I also hope this year brings happiness to everyone I know.

Many of what I classed as friends have disappeared over the past year. Some have changed in ways I couldn't and didn't want to keep up with and looking back on it as bad as it sounds i'm rather happy with letting them go out of my life. I have no harsh feeling towards these people don't get me wrong I wish the best for them in whatever they are doing right now but I'm glad i'm not apart of their life's anymore.

This blog has been apart of my life for a few years now and it will always be a love of mine. Last year I was posting twice a week and rarely missed a post. However with now trying to run my business I am going to have take the posts down to one a week and my upload day will be on Sunday. (The only day I get off haha) I hope you guys are okay with this and still enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it.

This year I hope you. Yes you reading this have a wonderful year. I hope you get to go places, see things and people you have never seen before and wake up every day with a smile on your face ready for another beautiful day. I hope you get the exam results you are looking for in your school years and get jobs you have been dreaming about since you were younger.
I wish happiness for you.
I wish happiness for my family, friends and myself.
I wish happiness for the whole world.

I hope you all have a wonderful new year
See you back here next sunday with another blog post!

Another Camping Adventure ♥

Hey guys!
I've been camping again...
This time it was with my mom, brother and the dog!
We went to Shell Island just outside Barmouth in Wales!
We have been before many times and every time it has been more and more peaceful! There is no electricity on the site or signal for most UK mobile servers which is lovely when you just want to kick back and relax and do nothing with your time there!
There is a beach just over some sand dunes where we were staying but didn't venture on to it. There were so many people on the site I have honestly never seen it so busy!
In true style of going camping we got rained on taking the tent down!
It was destined to happen because it wasn't raining when we got there to put it up! Anyways! I hope you guys are well!
Enjoy the pictures :)

The Last of US - Video Game ♥

Hey guys!
Hope you are all doing well!
Today's post is going to be all about 'The Last of US' for those of you who don't know what that is it is a video game for the play station.
I have been playing this game for the past 3 days and today i have finally finished it! I'm going to try not to give away any spoilers in this post because if you guys haven't played it yet and want to you wont know what its all about.

First thing this is a Zombie action game. For the most part you're fighting zombies and battling to stay alive. You also kill non-infected humans at times but that's all apart of the fun of surviving in a zombie apocalypse.

Of course like every other zombie game a infection is spread and when someone is bitten they turn. Usually it can take up to anything from a couple of minutes to a day and in this game if bitten you turn in a couple of hours. Due to me watching the walking dead I automatically called zombies walkers but in this game they are known as runners. You also have 2 other types of zombies in this game -  Clickers and bloaters.

We have out primary player Joel who you will play as at the beginning of the game and during game play you meet Ellie.

Throughout the game you get to play as both character during different circumstances. Both characters test your ability of survival, scavenge hunting and shooting. At the beginning of the game I didn't both entering open houses and looking in draws and cupboard but towards the middle of game I became low on ammo and it helped out a lot haha! If I have one tip of advice for you would say check every single corner of every single building, house and ground. You never know what you are going to find.

The action parts of the game was good not as good as some but way better than many. The graphics in this game are out of this world it honestly felt like watching a movie during the cut scenes which was amazing! There are a ton of cut scenes in this game (which can becomes annoying when you are getting into the game play) which are useful for information and an inside of the characters that you meet along the way.
Many people have said this game is emotional and I can see the sections they are talking about but I didn't feel emotion at all during the game. I did jump at times during the game and started getting pumped for the next time i got to control the character and kick some zombies head.

The game to me wasn't that great. I had really high expectations for this game. I do recommend this game to you all and if you can your hands on it do! I would like to buy the new version that has been brought out for the PS4 but we shall see if I do or not.

I hope you guys liked this little post. It was something different and like every other review of anything media related it is difficult to not give away the plot and so much detail while typing it out.

Out of 5* I give this game a 4.5*
Good game with great graphics but expected more.

New Zealand Adventures: Week 2 - Day 1, 2 and 3 ♥

Hey guys!
I am back with the next part of my 'New Zealand Adventure series'
If you missed the first one here is the link: new-zealand-adventures-week-1
I hope you all enjoyed the first one and lets get on with the next part!!

The site that we were staying in the next day was beautiful! The sun was out and the duck where begging for some more bread!

The next day we headed back into the town of Rotorua. The weather was beautiful, the sky was clear with a few cloud. As we were driving round the day before my nan saw a skyline gondola ride which she wanted to go on. That was our first port of call for the day! The view at the top was incredible! I took a panoramic picture while I was at the top just to show you guys how beautiful it looked!

While at the top my nan's son went on a luge. There were people from the age of 5 on the ride. It was funny watching everyone try and stay on the board as they zipped round the corners haha! Me and my nan sat in the sun chilling for a while before heading back down on a gondola. While we made our way up to the top we saw a cart go down past us with jelly bean stickers on it! It looked amazing! Me being the child I am wanted to go back down on the jelly bean on and made my nan wait for a couple of go back to get on it! The cart wasn't anything special but I just wanted to be in the jelly bean one!!!

As we finished that activity we had planned to go and see the Māori because the day was nice we didn't want to waste the day! We went to Te Puia which is home to the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute and the world famous Pohutu geyser, within the Whakarewarewa geothermal valley! It was amazing to just walk around and be introduced to a new culture! While walking around we saw some of the geysers explode that were in the park and the boiling mud baths! I got pulled on stage to learn a tribal dance after we watched a performance. Lets just say I wasn't truly happy with the idea but thought why not, i'm on holiday and when on earth am I going to be doing this again!

We then went back to the camp site we were in the day before and I cooked Sticky Chicken with boiled rice. I literally could have eaten all the chicken to myself. It honestly one of my favourite meals to have! If you've never heard of it you need to Google it and make it yourself!

The next day we made way to Napier. It wasn't anything special but my nan's son wanted to go so we did! Throughout my first week in New Zealand I had got beaten several times. I'm not sure what was biting me but something was so i headed to a pharmacy in Napier for some cream for them. The pharmacy's over there are so expensive, i was taking a look through the make-up section as i would and a lipstick which is around £3.00 over in the UK is about $10 over there! I can understand why beauty gurus like Shaaanxo off YouTube who live over there get it shipped to them from America haha!

After getting what I needed and having a little look around the town we headed off to Lake Taupo. We pitched up camp by the lake side and it was pretty much dark from the time we got there so picture taking was a bright idea at that point in time but the next morning was! Lake Taupo was created by a super volcanic that eruption approximately 26,500 years ago which is crazy! I believe its the largest lake by surface area in New Zealand!

The next day we were meant to head off to see a waterfall but it didn't plan out that way. We made our way there but headed off route and ended up at our next camp site where we spent the whole day. Chilling and relaxing...

I'm going to leave this post here. The reason for that is because I want to do a while post on Hobbiton and that was the next day! I have so many wonderful pictures and fact which i want to tell you guys about the place and want to go into real detail that it would honestly be to long for this post!

I hope you guys don't mind me doing this post this way!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
Have a wonderful day or night whatever you are doing and stay safe!

New Zealand Adventures: Week 1 ♥

Hey guys,
It was been nearly 2 months since i have been to New Zealand and i still haven't posted this post... I'm sorry I have been waiting for some new batteries for my camera to arrive but here it is... finally... the first week of my adventures in New Zealand!
SO HERE WE GO!
The first couple of days were just traveling... Plane after plane after plane... A couple of posts back you guys can see that I left the for the airport in Manchester on 6th April and took the Boeing 777 to Dubai! Our flight was delayed so I couldn't go and look around duty free which sucked but the airbus 800 was waiting for me to catch it to Australia! This was the first time I had ever been on a double decker plane and honestly I was shitting myself thinking about the facts that it was double the weight and double the people on the plane would it lift off the ground?! Of course it did else I wouldn't be able to tell you all about my time there haha! The landing in Australia was horrendous!!! The pilot thought it would be a good idea to hit the runway at more than 200mph and swerve the plane side to side... Not fun at all! I think everyone came off that flight with brown stains in their pants!
During all of these flights they were serving food which honestly was rank, I'm very funny with my food and they pretty much served everything with cheese which for me is a no go or it just smelt rank! The one good think about the hospitality was that all the drinks were free apart from champagne but what would you expect the champagne they had on flight looked expensive! I did end up near someone who thought it would be cool to get pissed out of their head and keep shouting at people... He had to be about 40 which makes it all worse.
The ICE system on the flights were amazing! I managed to watch films in which I had wanted to see in the cinema but never got around too as well as watch a few of my favorites. As well as the movies they had albums, TV programmes and games which you could enjoy! I think I may have listened to Midnight Memories and Beyonce more than 4 times on the flights but they are good albums and played pac-man for hours and got all up to date with 2 Broke Girls! Yeah the flights weren't that fantastic but it's just one step into getting where you wanna be right?
FINALLY we got to New Zealand after a hundred and one security checks... The first thing on my mind was food... I hadn't eaten in nearly 3 days and needed some food... McDonald's was called my name! A big mac, fries and a drink for $9 which is about £4.50 in the UK... YES PLEASE! We then made our way to the little hotel we were stopping at the night (by the way when I say our or we I mean me, my nan and her son) the hotel is not really anything to talk about apart from that fact the lovely lady at the check in desk gave me their wifi password. I stayed awake until 7/8pm which was good going baring in mind I was ready to drop at 4  and my nan went to sleep at about 4pm and her son 5pm (I'm never gonna let them live that one down after all their talk about staying awake) haha!
The next day we had to pick up the campervan! We got an upgrade on our van which was a lovely surprise and it looked amazing! I'll insert a picture of the outside but the inside got pretty much trashed and looked untidy for most of the time we were in it haha!
While driving I went to save some glasses from smashing and fell down the steep step by the door and bruised all my arm... DON'T WALK IN A MOVING VECHILE!!!!!!
We then headed for some food again... McDonald's and then to see my nans other son who lived out in New Zealand who sparked the whole coming to New Zealand in the first place as my nan wanted to see her grandchildren who she had only seen over skype, when she finally got to meet them face to face it was adorable, you could see how happy she was and it was so good to see her that happy, you kind of take things like that for granted of seeing your family everyday. We spent one night on the driveway of the house before heading off to Rotorua. We found a really lovely campsite called 'Waiteti Trout Stream Holiday Park & Backpackers'. The people there were really nice and we ended up setting up camp next to the lovely stream which was obviously filled with Trout and had cute ducks swimming up and down. The ducks were greedy gits and we ended up feeding them around half a pack of bread!
During our drive to the campsite I saw a Wendy's and me being the little American fangirl that I am said I want to go there! The next morning we went for breakfast and I ended up having a bacon and egg muffin and they gave you some fries and a choice of drink with your meal, I had a coke just because I wasn't in the mood for a hot drink. I prefer McDonald's breakfasts not going to lie but at least I can say I have been right? That's the way I look at it anyways.
After going to breakfast the weather wasn't picking up so we went to the Rotorua museum which was lets say... on the dull side... If you enjoy looking at an old bath houses then this was the museum for you! The other side of the museum was a bit better, there were wood carvings, tools and painting from the past and loads of other cool stuff! Even thought the inside of the museum was boring the outside of it was stunning! There is a long drive you have to drive up to get the house and threw all the trees and rain it looking stunning!
That night we stayed in the same place as before and I cooked tea for all of us, we had something really simple but filling due to the little space that I had around me ha! We ended up with chicken and pasta in tomato and basil sauce, I honestly thought it was really nice, I have no idea on what the other two thought of it, I didn't ask haha! The next day we went to Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park in Rotorua. This place is soooo cute! Everywhere you turned it was like being in a rain forest surrounded by trees and what i think made the experience a lot better was the fact that it was drizzling with rain. It made it feel like a real rain forest it was perfect!

There were many different types of birds and lizards there which was different from the boring zoos we get back in the UK which are all full of monkeys haha!
This little cute guy below is a Tuatara (i believe correct me if i am wrong) it is a very old lizard which originates from New Zealand which is cool! I had a mini photo shoot with this little fella and i believe this picture is capturing his best side haha!

I think we got about 1/2 or a bit more around the park and the rain just fell from the heavens! We ending spending a lot of time looking at trout in a tank because the rain was falling that hard we had to take cover! My nan ended up cleaning some of the windows on the trout tanks as well haha! We then ended up running into a cafe because we were all soaked and my purple hair dye was running onto my white jumper!!! We had a nice cup of coffee thinking that it would knock off soon but it didn't! We ended up leaving the park before we has seen everything but as we left the park there was a beautiful waterfall and even thought it was pouring down i had to take a picture!!
