Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream - Review ♥

Hey guys!
If you guys follow me on instagram @MusicMadGal10 you may have seen me post a picture of this product sometime ago... 8 weeks ago haha!
I said I was going to review it on my blog so here we go!
I was sent this product by Burt's Bee's.
(You can get it for cheaper from Boots but it's out of stock at the moment)

I am going to admit it right here and now. I don't care much for skincare and having a skincare routine. I applaud people who spend time of an evening cleansing, toning and moisturizing, I have the time to do it but it's just another chore to add to the list haha!
However this has changed. I now have a sort of mini skincare routine which takes me about 15 minutes from start to finish.

Burt's Bee Website description
Burt's Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream is a rich, sulfate-free facial cleanser is made with a gentle, yet effective plant-based cleansing complex featuring quillaja saponaria (soap) bark extract and witch hazel. Luxurious lather foams away excess dirt, oil and make-up leaving skin feeling clean and refreshed. Extracts of chamomile, echinacea and aloe help calm skin while glycerin and cocoa butter provide a touch of moisture for naturally fresh, healthy skin.

The scent of this product is amazing! It remind me of fizzy lemon sherbert you used to be able to get from the shops near me as a child!
The instructions on this product tell you to wet your face and then apply the product. When you do this it caused the cleansing cream to foam up and help get into your pores instead of just creating a layer of cream on your face as you rub it into your face.
After you start to take off the face wash it starts to have a cooling effect on your skin which feels amazing! The bonus with this product is that is stay that way for ages! With some products I have used in the past that sensation happens for about 5 minutes and disappears, this one doesn't!
The first I used this product I washed my face with the product and was intrigued to see if it has taken off all my makeup so I used a cleanser I has sitting around. The cotton pad came back clean! No makeup on it at all! I was super impressed!
This is definitely deep cleaning and not drying at all! I have dry skin and if anything it moisturises my skin instead of drying it out!
I don't use this product everyday. I use it 2/3 times a week depending in this condition of my skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this when it runs out!
Its is a must have! Go try it and let me know what you guys think!

NikkieTutorials - The Power of MAKEUP! ♥

Hey guys!
I was scrolling through my YouTube Subscriptions list the other day and saw that NikkieTutorials had uploaded a new video.
Although I always watch her videos every time she uploads this video was a must watch!
Make up is wonderful thing. It makes many people feel happy in their own skin and gives many people the creativity to create a beautiful masterpiece on their own face or on others.
Me, myself love makeup and it gives me away of expressing myself as well as others. I love sitting down at my dresser everyday and creating a new look!
Eyeshadows, eyeliners, lipstick, glitter, highlighter, bronzer, blush etc were all made for a purpose. To enhance natural beauty and to hide imperfection you may not want to be on show.
No one should be shamed for how much or how little makeup or how bright or neutral they decide to wear on an everyday bases.
If you have 10 minutes out of your day please watch this video.
Makeup is powerful.

MUA Cream Blushers - Review ♥

Hey guys!
Today's post is going to be on the MUA Cream Blushers!

I was gifted 5 of them for christmas and although not all of them are award winners for my skin on other people they are stunning!

I was always scared to try cream blushers or cream products in general because I always thought that after apply my foundation and putting them over the top it would move my foundation and make the rest of my makeup look a mess but it doesn't and I was super surprised! They also haven't had the best reviews of the years and have said to have been messy.
They are all lovely colour and are actually a dream to apply!

Left To Right: Blossom, Yummy, Scrummy, Bittersweet, Lush
I always apply my cream blushers with my MUA F2 Stippling brush which allows the product to be applied lightly to begin with and allows me to build the colour up to my expectations and desired look. You can apply the product with your fingers is you wish but I find that using your fingers does move your foundation. Unless you are very light handed which I am not I would use a brush!

The product lasts all day on the skin and doesn't require any touch up throughout the day. The pigmentation during the day does slightly on the skin but it still noticeable at the end of the night.

I would 100% recommend picking these up if you are new to cream blushers.

You can get these from Superdrug either in store or online and you can also purchase them from the MUA website direct. You get 3.2g of product for £2.
Have you guys tried these before? Do you like them?

MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlight - Pink Shimmer - Review ♥

Hey Guys!
Today's post is going to be a product review.
If you guys saw my christmas wish list post back in December you may have seen that I asked for this highlighter and santa brought it for me! Woo!
This product contains 7.5g of highlighter and costs £3 from the MUA site
The packaging is nice a simple and not bulky with a clear lift up case which i think is pretty and doesn't really look like it would come a cheaper brand that it does. The product inside the packing also looks beautiful even after use. I have used mine every single say since christmas and it still have the beautiful ripple/swirl shape! The shape of the product inside is to replicate some of the MAC mineralize skin finish product
It is a pearlised pink and silver shimmer colour and looks the same colour on the skin.
The first touch of the product is a bit rough but after a few uses it start to soften up but not enough for the powder to break up and go everywhere. The product is blendable and buildable but don't try to over do it else you will be looking like a shiny glitter ball all day long!
In my opinion the product is better applied with the fingers rather than a brush at the beginning of using it as it is a little rougher than a normal highligher that you would by from a higher end company. I do however use a stipple brush to bend out the product if i use too much. You obviously can use a brush to apply and blend if you wish and that how you usually apply your highlight.

I love this highlighter so much and as I said previously in this post I have used it every single day since I had it for christmas I would 100% re-buy if I ever run out of it and do plan on buying the gold version of the highlighter called 'Iridesent gold'
If you are new to highlighter and want a product to experiment with before purchasing a more expensive highlighter this would be a perfect product!
4.5/5!
What do you guys think about this product?

Christmas Wish List 2014; ♥❅

Hey guys!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!
I am finally all wrapped and ready to enjoy christmas day tomorrow!
As I sit and type this post I am curled up in bed with my dog and a hot chocolate! My little brother is asleep and everything is quiet in the house.

My Christmas Wish List this year is pretty small compared to other years. I pretty much have everything I could need or want and have honestly found it a struggle to write a list to Santa this year!

Of course lipsticks and lip products have made their way onto my list as well as a fragrance and the new one direction album but there is one thing on my list in which I never thought in a million years my 19 year old self would be asking for. Mr Frosty. If you don't know what a Mr Frosty is, it is an ice machine which crushes your ice and you then you add syrup to make an ice lolly which you can freeze or a slush which you can then drink. I have a penguin version of this when I was little and must have lost it while moving from one house to another.
Honestly to me the presents aren't that important and I know many people say that but I truly mean it.
I love spending time with my mom, dad and brother! Christmas morning is one of the best times of the year. I love seeing my brothers face when he opens a present and seeing my mom and dads reaction to what i have brought them that year as a thank you for putting up with me that year and helping me out when I have needed them!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas day and enjoy spending time with your families.
If you don't celebrate Christmas i hope you have a wonderful day whatever you may be doing!
I wont be posting this Sunday because we will be out and about visiting family and for the most of it I will be playing with all the goodies Santa has brought me! Haha!
MERRY CHRISTMAS BEAUTIES!!!
